Banana Loaf & Brownies Workshop

This is a short culinary course aimed at sharing with learners how to prepare moist banana loaf and rich chocolate brownies from scratch. The lesson consists of 80% practical and 20% knowledge-based learning. Learners will be introduced to fundamental baking techniques, proper ingredient measurement, and mixing methods to achieve the perfect texture and consistency.

Learners will learn the correct preparation steps, batter-making techniques, baking temperature control, and presentation methods. Throughout the workshop, learners will prepare two baked items: Banana Loaf and Chocolate Brownies.

The course follows the learning outcomes below:

  • Learners will learn the fundamentals of baking and ingredient preparation.
  • Learners will learn how to prepare banana loaf batter and chocolate brownie batter from scratch.
  • Learners will learn proper mixing techniques to achieve moist texture and balanced flavour.
  • Learners will learn correct baking temperature, timing, and presentation techniques.
